Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 available across India


The Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 which was announced back in August has officially been made available in the country. This Honeycomb based tablet sits among some of the thinnest slates as it comes encased in an 8.6mm thin chassis.


At 465 grams, the lightweight tablet is aimed at modern professionals to offer productive as well as entertainment features. The device’s front panel is dominated by a capacitive touchscreen spanning 8.9 inches, while its TouchWiz interface adds to the responsiveness. This interface with a Live Panel menu lets users customize the home screen by adding pictures, websites or social networking updates.

The Mini Apps Tray displays commonly used applications which are inclusive of music player, calendar, task manager and more. It also allows users to launch more than one application at a time to facilitate multitasking. Fueled by the 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, the device offers an enhanced web browsing experience. This Wi-Fi enabled portable tablet PC is fitted with a front facing 2MP camera in addition to a 3MP rear facing shooter that records videos of 720-pixel resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 is available at Samsung retail outlets across India for a price of Rs. 34,610.
