BlackBerry Bold 9790 with New Features

Packing refined touches and functional features into the BlackBerry Bold 9790 smartphone provides a bold design, sensitive touch display, running on a powerful processor and BlackBerry 7 OS, dual band Wi-Fi connectivity and numerous pre-installed apps and services.




BlackBerry Bold 9790 displays a 2.45-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16 million brilliant colours in 480 x 360 pixels screen with its iconic QWERTY keyboard and an accurate optical trackpad complementing it.

An enormous storage capacity of 8 GB expandable up to 32 GB using micro SD card helps you download and store innumerable games, music and videos. The 5 MP camera with a flash has latest features like auto-focus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face detection and image stabilization with a support for video capture.

Processing horsepower comes from the 1GHz Marvell Tavor processor running on BlackBerry OS 7 supporting SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and Instant messaging. Standard Li-Ion batteries give you talk time of over 5 hours.

The latest Near Field Communication technology is supported but is carrier dependent. NFC allows you to connect with other devices and read tags on signs and cash counters with just a tap of the phone.

For connectivity, BlackBerry Bold 9790 supports Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G and Bluetooth, which helps you make quick downloads on the go using the HTML Browser.

Launched this month with a price tag of Rs. 27,490, it would be available in the Indian market by December holiday season.
