Reliance 3G Tab

Presenting the most affordable tablet for the masses in India is Reliance with its 7-inch 3G Tablet running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. With a price tag of Rs. 13,000, a lot more people can own a tablet.

Locked for Reliance, there are 3 main data plans. The 1GB monthly data plan costs Rs.375 per month, 2GB costs Rs.458 per month while 5GB costs Rs.583 per month.

Pros

It has a capacitive TFT-LCD WVGA multi-touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels display with a processor of 800MHz. Weighing just 389g it is easy to carry around. It supports a modest 2 MP back camera and a VGA front camera allowing video chat.

Other features that are present include Video recording, MobileTV, Wi-Fi Hotspot, USB support, Bluetooth Voice Calling, GPS, FM Radio, Alarm, Speaker Phone besides SMS and MMS.

It also has high quality audio and video recording. Capture hundreds of special moments into the 4GB microSD card that comes with this Reliance 3G Tablet.

Some of the apps like Kindle for easy book reading, Twitter and Facebook are available. Android Market with hundreds of apps is preloaded into this Tab.

Cons

You may need to charge its 3400mAH Li-On battery more often as it lasts a little over 6 hours. The screen is not as sensitive and swiping pages not as smooth as the high-end tablets available today. Gaming is not much fun due to lower processor speeds while the 2MP camera is definitely not its strong point.

But, with the speeds and reliability guaranteed by Reliance and the low price offered, this tablet is a good buy.
