Samsung Nexus S Smartphone – The New Android 2.3

Samsung continues to be one of the major developers of latest gadgets. Adding to its latest fleet of devices is the Nexus S. This Gingerbread system is slightly overpriced at Rs. 2
9, 590/- and comes with Android 2.3.2.

The device offers a pure Android experience without any rooting required and sports a good music performance with its bundled earphones while also being fast and responsive.

The Nexus S comes as a successor to Nexus One, the first Google branded phone introduced by HTC and is a little heavier weighing 129 grams.

It is accompanied by 16 GB of storage which is supposed to be sufficient for movies and such. It runs a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A-8 CPU with PowerVR SGX540 graphics solution and is coupled with 512 MB of RAM.

However, the device presents a few glitches that affect the user’s usability. The battery life too isn’t as good as it was expected and the ringer and vibration system are too weak which mean that incoming calls can be easily missed.
