However, Acer recently launched a line of notebook computers at CeBIT which might just be what you were looking for. The new line is called the V3 series and Acer believes that the notebooks are fully optimized to take care of all your digital needs.
The notebook line will come with a variety of options on processors and GPUs for you to choose from. It will utilize Intel Core family processors and Nvidia GeForce GT series GPUs.

Design
- The V3 line will come in three different configurations including 14, 15.6 and 17.3-inch screens.
- According to Acer, the 17.3 inch model will include a 1600 x 900 pixel display.
- Aimed particularly at mainstream consumers with a classy, single tone design but in conventional dimensions.
- The keyboard is Acer’s traditional chiclet design.
- The line will be made available in four different colours – dawn gold, midnight black, nightfall gray and thunderbolt silver.

- The 17.3-inch model is available with options to improve its entertainment capabilities such as the Acer CineCrystal HD+ 1600×900 LED backlit display.
- Comes equipped with Dolby Home Theater v4 audio system. The full-length speaker is placed above the keyboard. It also boasts a Blu-ray disc drive.
- All V3 series notebooks will be powered by either an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor.
- Each variation of the notebook will come with Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet ports and Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam.
- Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB and HDMI output.
